Conventional apple sauce is typically anything but nutritious because they are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. Our pure, regeneratively farmed sauces have only two pure ingredients each. We politely passed on cheaper cassia cinnamon, almost all of today's applesauce manufacturers use and contains significantly higher amounts of the toxic, coumarin. Instead, we use Ceylon cinnamon, sourced from fair trade organic farms in Sri Lanka, where it has been prized as a cooking spice for hundreds of years!
