Our pita was designed with utility in mind. It makes a great flatbread for pizza, has an open pocket for sandwiches, and can even be substituted for a wrap.
As a pizza, simply load with your favorite toppings and bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 400°. For a crispy crust, bake directly on the oven rack. For a softer crust, bake on a cookie sheet. As a pocket, cut into two halves. We recommend warming the pita for 10 - 15 seconds in the microwave, this will enhance its pliability. Open the pocket and stuff with your favorite fillings. It is that simple.
As a wrap, cut along the edge of the pita halfway around. Microwave the pita for 10 - 15 seconds to enhance its pliability. Open the pocket fully and fill to the hallway mark with your favorite fixings. Fold one flap into the pita and over the fillings, fold the other over the first flap and, voila a self-contained wrap to enjoy.
