Traditionally used as a diuretic to promote renal elimination of water and for symptomatic relief of mild genito-urinary tract infections and irritations and as an astringent for diuresis.

Recommended Dose (Adults):

2 teaspoons (1.5g) 3 times daily, as infusion. Infuse 2 teaspoons in 150ml of boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes.

 

 

Medicinal Ingredient: 

Each teaspoon contains 0.75g of dried herb of Equisetum arvense (Horsetail).

 

 

Duration of use: 

For occasional use only.

Contraindications: 

Do not use: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you have cardiac or renal dysfunctions; if you are taking digitalis, lithium or other diuretics; if you are allergic to nicotine or to horsetail.
